Welcome...
to paradise.
From simple to complex, details are vital when planning your ultimate landscape design. Every aspect of your installation must be planned, from color and space, to form and texture. Don’t worry. We’ll plan out the details. It’s time for you to sit back and relax.
Plant Installation:
A garden masterpiece
The landscape design process will include a site inventory, a determination of needs, functional diagrams, and lastly, a final design plan. We’ll outline each horticultural need to provide you with an incredible, perfected oasis.
Planting & Installation
We understand the importance of using native plants, organic elements, and eco-friendly practices for your garden to truly thrive. The beauty of your installation shouldn’t last for a mere season. Our experienced planters can help you experience truly exceptional beauty and functionality, throughout all seasons.
The Details matter
At Castano Design Build, we understand the importance not only linked to the visual quality of your plants, hardscape, and garden decor; we understand variables, like scent and touch. We’ll combine variations of form, color, texture, and size to culminate into an astounding focal point.
Irrigation Systems
When you’ve spent the capital to construct an incredible backyard haven, let’s make sure caring for it is as seamless as possible.
Installing an Irrigation System
You may think installing an irrigation system is an easy weekend-DIY project. However, we’d beg to differ. When installing a system, several details will need to be determined first, including: available water pressure, the size of your service line, your water meter size (or well size if out of city limits), and your flow rate.
After these calculations, Castano Design Build determines which sprinkler head types are best for your yard and landscaped space: fixed spray, bubbler, gear-driven, multiple stream, pop-up, rotary, or shrub sprinkler heads.
If you’re ready to let Castano professionally install your system, connect with us, today.
Sod Installation
Your yard is your home’s calling card. Whether you’re looking for a quick solution before selling, or just ready to get your yard better than your neighbors, we can cultivate exactly what you need.
The Benefits of Sod Installation
Sod installation is an immediate solution for many reasons, but our 4 top reasons for installing sod are:
- An Instant Lawn—Get a head start on your summer festivities with a pre-established yard. No need to seed or sprig, just install and allow two weeks to set.
- Irrigate Less—Sod requires less water than seeding a lawn. Where seeding requires 4+ waterings each day, sod requires 2.
- Get a Lusher Lawn—We fit your sod pieces together for an ultra tight, lush and even lawn, removing bare spots that can arise with seeding a new lawn.
- Prevent Soil Erosion—Sod immediately controls dust, mud and erosion. Whereas seeding a lawn can take up to 18 months to fully prevent soil erosion.
Drainage & Grading
A well-designed drainage system is key in protecting your home from standing water and future foundational issues.
Charlotte: Hot & Muggy or Cold & Wet
Not to put it mildly, but the Charlotte area has essentially two seasonal temperatures: hot and muggy, or cold and wet. Either way, moisture is a part of life here in Greater-Mecklenburg county. If you’ve just funded a landscape design or hardscape installation, your drainage system is vital in maintaining it’s beauty for years to come.
At Castano Design Build, if we are installing a landscape or hardscape installation, we’ll bring to light any potential drainage issues prior to constructing, so you’ll know all your options in preventing:
- ponding water
- oversaturating soil
- insect problems due to stagnated water
Not to worry, your drainage solution won’t be an eye sore. Instead, Castano Design Build can customize your drainage installation and make it a functional element of your overall design.
